I am a bit sad because of the fact that my birthday party at Studio 80 will never be topped... but... OMG!! WHAT A NIGHT THAT WAS!! A MAGICAL NIGHT FOR IN THE BOOKS. A NIGHT FULL OF EXCITEMENT (actually a week of excitement:) THANX EVERYONE FOR COMING OUT PARTY WITH US. A very special thanx to Gert van Veen, Jaap Mutsaers, Seppe and the whole Studio 80 crew, Goetz @ Cocoon Artist Booking, all my dear friends and good spirits, and my baby and love Manuela Budimilic for making it happen. A big thanx to San Proper, Wouter de Moor and Gideon Bouwens, thank you guys for being part of this. Also a big bow for you guys :) Another special thanx to Wallz Bozman for your great Toscanini homecooking and making it a perfect start of the night. And a very very special thanx to RICARDO VILLALOBOS, the one who made it happen. What a special dj you are. One of the biggest on the planet in my opinion and a big inspiration to see and hear you play. Thanx for being part of this and making it the great night that it was my friend. XXS

Release date: November 2011 Label: Some Records Catalogue number: Format: 12" and digital Buy here.
[TRACKLIST] 1. The Viking 2. Carlos 3. 7tine
Heiko Laux and Steve Rachmad come to SOMA Records with the Viking. The tracks blend the best of both producers; Rachmad’s Detroit influence shaped with Laux’s dynamic style.
The title track Viking, is led by a synth that sweeps in an almost hyperventilating rhythm that raising the track with a series of industrial ticks and clicks that flavour the German, Dutch and Detroit mix. A dark bassline leads the track into its climax where glitchy synths squeak and stretch before the track drops.
Carlos is a track that bounces with groove. Morse-like rhythmic bleeps carry the track cementing the individuality that is created in the EP. Awash with sweeping sounds, the track gains a smoother feeling of deep techno demonstrating their delicacy.
7tine is a juggernaut with a dark, heavy rhythm, showing the industrial power of the pair’s production. Flanged distortion scratching like fingernails give the track a tense edge, while simple yet powerful synths steer the EP into an eerie conclusion.

Release Date: November 2011 Artist: Sam McQueen Title: Eclectic / Zero Zero Four EP Label: Indigo Aera Genre: Detroit Techno
[TRACKLIST] a1 8,000 Km Between Us a2 Endorphin Dreams b1 Fourteen Days (Steve Rachmad Remix) b2 Foruteen Days (Original)
On Indigo Aera's fourth release Sam McQueen is responsible for some of the finest soundscape & ambient styled techno tracks. Not bound in genres or styles, Sam Mcqueen’s Music is straight from the heart. For some people already known for collaborating with John Beltran for the Indio project on Transmat, he also did releases on Samurai and Berlin’s Styrax imprint. For this release on Indigo we've asked Steve Rachmad to do a remix on an older track Sam produced quite some years ago. As Sam lists Detroit techno as a major influence on his work we think Steve Rachmad’s edit fits perfectly for making this release a complete one. Vinyls available end november, 50 limited clear copies - 278 black copies.
